BluOr Bank supports meat distribution freezer and warehouse facility in Rēzekne

With €4.8 million financing from BluOr Bank and co-funding from the Rural Support Service, a Newly-Built Meat Distribution Freezer and Warehouse Facility was completed for Rēzekne Meat ProcFactory.
An investment of more than €8 million, including €4.8 million provided by BluOr Bank with co-financing from the Rural Support Service and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development, made it possible to build a freezing facility and a meat distribution warehouse for Rēzekne Meat Factory.
The new complex significantly strengthens the company’s capacity and capabilities, ensuring higher standards of efficiency and quality in meat processing and storage. It provides an important contribution not only to the company’s development but also to the overall economy of the Latgale region.
Within the project:
• the construction of a new freezer-warehouse with total area of 2,856.8 m²,
• the purchase of 10 modern pieces of equipment that ensure higher production efficiency standards,
• the establishment of an industrial refrigeration supply complex that substantially improves meat storage processes,
• with the support of ALTUM the construction of a solar power plant complex, which significantly reduces dependence on traditional energy sources and promotes environmentally friendly, sustainable energy production.
